The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (AICPA & CIMA) have signed an MoU with the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID).
Through the agreement, AICA & CIMA have committed to strengthening finance and governance amongst Sri Lankan businesses through a series of joint workshops and events.
SLID CEO Anitra Perera stated: “Through this partnership, we will expand access to globally recognised competencies, practical learning platforms, and cross-membership pathways that elevate both professional standards and boardroom effectiveness.”
“Ultimately, this initiative is about strengthening leadership capacity at every level, ensuring that Sri Lanka’s business community is equipped to drive sustainable growth, uphold governance excellence, and compete confidently on a global stage,” she added.
