Deloitte has summarised a series of workshops it held on the implications of New Zealand’s revised mandatory climate reporting regime – which saw the number of in-scope companies reduced by 54%.
The workshops, held with a range of stakeholders, discussed the legal and regulatory considerations for companies providing climate information voluntarily. They also discussed the current reporting standards' landscape and how to integrate nature into climate transition planning.
