EFRAG, ISSB, GRI, SBTi and CDP have all been appointed as observing entities on the GHG Protocol’s Independent Standards Board (ISB).
Their representatives will therefore participate in non-voting capacity at ISB meeting on the development or revision of GHG Protocol standards.
ISB chair Alexander Bassen said in a statement: “The onboarding of the Observing Entities is a pivotal step toward alignment across the accounting, disclosure and target-setting ecosystem.”
