Fabienne Colignon has been re-elected as chair of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board’s (IPSASB) Consultative Advisory Group (CAG).
The CAG is made up of 25 representatives of public sector organisations and other key stakeholders. It provides regular input to support IPSASB’s decision-making and strategy.
Colignon, first elected to the role in 2023, will chair the CAG for a further three years. She has previously served in France’s public sector accounting standard-setting body (CNoCP).
She stated: “One of the CAG’s greatest strengths is the breadth of experience and perspectives its members bring from across the global public sector community. Those insights help shape the IPSASB’s priorities and ensure its standards and activities remain responsive to the needs of stakeholders and the public interest.”
