Laura Abeni, Raymond Chamboko, José Victor Sousa and Volker Specht have been appointed to the IFRS Interpretations Committee.
The Committee – made up of 14 members – works with the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) to ensure entities are applying the IFRS Accounting Standards in a consistent manner.
Abeni is head of group accounting policies at the Generali Group, Chamboko is director at reporting advisory firm W.consulting, Sousa is director of controllership and accounting at Vale, and Specht is a partner at KPMG in Germany.
All four have been appointed on three-year terms, starting on 1 July.
