The Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol) has published guidance to help companies implement its Land Sector and Removals (LSR) standard once it takes effect on 1 January 2027.
The guidance provides practical details on how to account for and disclose GHG emissions and removals from agricultural land use. It offers illustrative examples, 10 corporate case studies, and calculation guidance.
Alongside the guidance, the GHG Protocol has released a sample reporting template and a reporting requirement checklist.
