The International Accounting Standards Board has released a webcast, providing an overview of the forthcoming IFRS 20 accounting standard.
IFRS 20 will require companies subject to a specific type of rate regulation to provide information on their regulatory assets, regulatory liabilities, regulatory income and regulatory expenses. The new standard is expected to be issued in Q2 2026.
