The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) has issued short explainer videos on the aims of its proposed Risk Mitigation Accounting Model and how it would in practice.
Last December, the IASB issued a proposal for a new accounting model to reflect how financial institutions manage interest rate risk within their portfolios. A public consultation on the proposal is open until July.
