The International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) has appointed Helene Agélii as chair of its Small and Medium Practices Advisory Group, Sinéad Donovan as chair of the International Panel on Accountancy Education, and Josephine Okui Ossiya as chair of the Professional Accountants in Business Advisory Group.
Agélii is Secretary General of the Nordic Federation of Public Accountants, Donovan has previously served as chair and partner at Grant Thornton Ireland, while Ossiya is CEO of the Capital Markets Authority Uganda.
IFAC President Jean Bouquot said in a statement: "Their perspectives will be invaluable as we work together to shape the future of accountancy through learning, innovation, and a collective voice."
