ISS-Corporate: More companies disclosing human rights policies in 2025

An analysis of large-cap (over $10bn market capitalisation) companies’ disclosures by software and consultancy firm ISS-Corporate found an increase in the rate of reporting on human rights policies across EMEA, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region over the last year.

In 2025, 81% EMEA-based companies disclosed a human rights policy, up from 77% in 2024. Meanwhile, the rate of reporting on human rights policies increased from 55% to 60% in the Americas and from 50% to 54% in the Asia-Pacific region between 2024 and 2025.

ISS-Corporate also found that more companies across the three regions reported their supplier human rights expectations and disclosed that they have conducted sustainability-related audits on their suppliers this year.
