Last year, 54% institutional investors in Asia disclosed climate-related information in line with either the ISSB standards or TCFD framework, up from 48% in 2023, according to a study by the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC).
AIGCC reviewed publicly available information from 113 asset owners and 117 asset managers – the majority of which are headquartered in Asia.
It also found that disclosures of physical risk exposures increased from 31% in 2023 to 43% in 2024, with 58% asset managers reporting this information last year.
Moreover, 37% institutional investors assessed disclosed their portfolio emissions and 44% published an advanced climate scenario analysis.
