The Nature Positive Initiative (NPI) – a coalition of 27 sustainability-focused organisations – has opened a final public consultation on a draft framework of indicators for measuring the effects of companies’ biodiversity policies on the natural world.
In 2024, the NPI released a first draft of the ‘state of nature metrics’, which have since undergone a public consultation and pilot testing.
The final consultation on the metrics is open until 24 March. NPI aims to issue the final framework, alongside additional guidance, later this year.
