Law firm Ropes & Gray has identified the eight countries that have transposed the 'stop the clock directive' to pause the implementation of the CSRD and CSDDD requirements.
According to its most recent ‘CSRD Transposition Tracker’, last month Poland and Cyprus implemented the EU directive into national law, joining Hungary, Ireland, Norway, Estonia, France and Lithuania in doing so.
Meanwhile, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Slovenia and Luxembourg have introduced but not yet adopted legislation to transpose the 'stop the clock directive'.
