The ISEAL Alliance – a global membership organisation promoting good practice for sustainability systems and standards - has approved the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as a new Community Member.
By joining the ISEAL Community, SBTi has committed to continually improving its processes through learning and collaboration activities in line with the ISEAL Code of Conduct.
David Kennedy, SBTi CEO, stated: “Approval for Community Membership of ISEAL is a significant milestone for the SBTi, demonstrating that we are a trusted standard-setting organization. This is a clear signal to the market of our commitment to principles like transparency, impartiality and collaboration.”
ISEAL Executive Director Karin Kreider commented: “We look forward to working with SBTi to continue improving their system and supporting robust, science-based practice.”
