The ‘stop the clock’ directive to delay requirements of the CSDDD and CSRD reporting has been published in the Official Journal of the EU today (16 April).
Under the amended timelines, the effective date of the CSDDD will be pushed back until 2028 and the second and third waves of CSRD reporting requirements will be postponed until 2027 and 2028 respectively.
The ‘stop the clock’ directive will come into effect from tomorrow, with member states required to transpose it into national law by 31 December.
