Susanne Stormer has been appointed as Chair of the Global Sustainability Standards Board (GSSB) – the body responsible for setting the GRI standards. She will take over in the role from Carol Adams who has served as chair since 2023.
Stormer is Leader in Residence at the Copenhagen Business School and has worked at PwC Denmark and Novo Nordisk. She has previously served as a member of the EFRAG ESRS Project Taskforce and the SASB Standards Board.
She stated: “I look forward to working with colleagues and partners across the reporting ecosystem to promote credible, timely, and decision-useful reporting, so that organisations and their stakeholders can collectively act on impacts and drive investments towards more sustainable business practices.”
GRI has also reappointed Jeff Robertson, Deborah Ng, Galya Tsonkova and Chulendra de Silva as GSSB members.
