Ropes & Gray has published its latest CSRD transposition tracker, mapping the EU member states that have implemented the EU’s Omnibus I directive to simplify corporate sustainability requirements.
As of 31 March, Czechia and Lithuania are the only countries to have approved legislation to transpose the Omnibus I package. A further three (Croatia, Finland and Poland) have introduced transposition laws, while Ireland has held a public consultation on a proposed law to implement the amended CSRD requirements into national law.
Member states have until 19 March 2027 to transpose the CSRD provisions set out in Omnibus I.
