The UK Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has summarised the responses to the public consultation on its proposed technical revisions to the UK and Irish Digital Reporting Taxonomy Suite.
An FRC statement reads: “Respondents were broadly supportive of the proposed changes, recognising the value of digital reporting and the importance of ensuring that taxonomy modelling is pragmatic, efficient, and supports the generation of high-quality, comparable data.
“Stakeholders consistently highlighted the importance of maintaining global comparability and aligning taxonomies with international XBRL specifications,” it continues.
